These terms apply when you use pixelbarn.co.uk and when you buy website services from Pixel Barn ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a quote or using our services, you agree to these terms.

About our services

We design and build websites for independent businesses. We also provide hosting, maintenance and support under a monthly plan. The scope of each project will be agreed with you before work begins.

Prices and payment

Current prices are shown on our website. Unless we agree something different in writing:

  • The website build is a one-off fee, currently £399.
  • Hosting and updates are charged monthly, currently £7.99 per month, starting when your site goes live.
  • Larger changes, such as new pages or booking systems, are quoted separately before work starts.

We will confirm the price and what is included before you pay. Payment terms will be set out in your invoice or project confirmation.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, photos and approvals in reasonable time so we can complete your website. You are responsible for making sure any content you supply does not break the law or infringe someone else's rights.

Monthly hosting and updates

The monthly plan keeps your website online and includes hosting, security maintenance and one set of routine updates each month. If you cancel the monthly plan, we may take your website offline at the end of the paid period unless we agree another arrangement.

Changes, delays and acceptance

We will show you the website for review before launch. Reasonable changes are included as agreed in your project. Delays caused by missing information, late feedback or events outside our reasonable control may move delivery dates.

Intellectual property

When you have paid in full for the build, you may use the finished website for your business. We retain ownership of our tools, templates, know-how and any pre-existing materials. We may show your completed website as an example of our work unless you ask us not to.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep websites available and secure, but uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for those services in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Ending the agreement

Either party may end ongoing monthly services in line with the notice period shown on your invoice or project confirmation. Fees already paid are not refundable unless required by law or agreed in writing.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest will still apply. We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page.
